MEP is in the process of encouraging the Town of Somerset, Chevy Chase, MD, to switch to 100% renewable electric energy. This switch costs nothing to the end-user and their electric bill will actually be reduced by over 3%. This WIN-WIN opportunity, to save money and the environment at the same time, has been very popular for the neighborhood and MEP hopes to expands this project to other neighborhoods in Maryland.
