CREATE YOUR MURAL top
Mother Earth Murals are works of art that spreads awareness to residents of a community about the climate emergency, the local environmental issues that need to be addressed, and climate laws that need to be written into law.
To create your mural, we recommend that you:
1. Find an available large wall (as big as possible!) in a location that will have a big impact and good visibility for vehicles and pedestrians.
2. Find local artists that are willing to create a mural.
3. Decide on a design that illustrates your environmental concerns, both with images and LARGE TEXT. Be inspired by all of the murals on this webpage, but we leave the design to you! In order to strengthen the power and global impact of the Mother Earth Project, we ask that you consider adding an image of the Mother Earth sculpture – the Symbol of Sustainability – and our logo.
4. Make sure at the bottom of your mural that you add the name of your community (city, state, country), the name of the artist(s), and year completed.
5. Start Painting! If needed, the Mother Earth Project will assist with the purchase of painting materials. Please contact us at themotherearthproject@gmail.com.
6. Send us photos/videos so that we can post them on our Mother Earth Project social media platform.
7. Have a large party to celebrate the completion of your mural, invite local politicians and the media, so that the impact of your efforts will be felt both locally and globally.
