About this Parachute
Story
I am Tienchee from Fridays for Future Thunder Bay, a local non-profit climate activism organization. We would love to join the Parachutes for the Planets initiative. Our local branch of Fridays for Future was created by a group of high school students in 2019. Since then, we have been dedicated to spreading youth climate activism and raising awareness about climate issues to our community.
Sustainable Actions in this Community
Fridays for Future Thunder Bay is an active member in the community. We take action by organizing climate strikes as well as litter clean-ups around the city. We also engage members of the community through presentations to elementary schools and other organizations- informing them about climate change, carbon footprint and other issues specific to our community, like cigarette butt pollution in Lake Superior.
