Story
Hello I am writing to you from the Del Norte Climate Justice Alliance. We are a small group of people putting together a week of awareness, action and accountability in our small rural coastal town in Northern California for the Climate Justice Strike Week. All of our supplies are coming from local donations, or out of our pockets to be able to put on our activities, rally and panel of speakers during the week. We are putting on educational workshops to help inform local people of how they can make everyday changes to help limit their impact on the environment and what local issues they should know more about and how to get involved. We will also be holding a rally and a panel of speakers talking about how climate change has impacted our local water systems – rivers, ocean and fishing.
