About this Parachute
Story
Hi my name is Chloe Cook, I am 10 yrs old, I am an earth ranger, I am a vegetarian and I love cats. I am writing you today because I am also responsible for starting the Fridays for future strikes in my town. I have a strike planned for September 20th and would love to decorate a parachute for it. I am involved in Fridays for Future because I was inspired by Greta Thunberg to start Fridays for Future in North Bay Ontario Canada because it’s our planet and our future that is being effected by climate change, by things like forest fires, flooding and droughts, water and food shortages, melting sea ice, the lives of animals everywhere are being threatened, and the sea levels are rising. I hope to inspire others to choose our planet over material goods and to help me raise awareness and reduce our carbon footprint. I recently met with the mayor of North Bay along with my follow strikers to ask for a greener plan for my community. Thank you,
