About this Parachute
Story
The Eco Club's parachute was displayed during Founders Day at Sidwell Friends School, which attracts alumni from around the US. It brings together the extended Sidwell community. It was a great opportunity to show the parachute and promote environmental awareness! In fact, Head of School Bryan Garman read Dr. Seuss's "The Lorax" book to the entire PK-12 student body, a book about deforestation.
Last Friday, our Eco club completed our parachute after a little over two weeks of intense parachute art sessions:). We are really happy with the result and currently have it hung in the hallway near the entrance of the upper school!
