About this Parachute
Story
Our community is bedevilled with deforestation and loss of cultural heritage. It is also plagued with the problem of improper waste handling and management.
Sustainable Actions in this Community
We have started and continued such actions as tree planting to and education to combat deforestation. We embrace traditional indigenous knowledge to help create stories and record existing ones around heritage and diversity preservation and conservation. We carry out fortnightly plogging (jogging and picking litter) episodes to clean up communities, create awareness and enlighten the citizenry on the need for proper waste management.
