About this Parachute
Story
Our design thinking class at Churchill high school in Eugene, Oregon, was excited by the opportunity to collaborate to create our parachute! Each student had a part in designing and creating the parachute. We choose a melting earth as an ice cream cone as our center picture to communicate how delicate the earth is and short of a timeline we have to save it. Around the edges of the parachute, we wrote our individual commitments to the planet next to our hand prints. -Kristin Spangler, Math teacher
