About this Parachute
Story
Students at Charlemagne Elementary had a wonderful time being presented with the project, creating personal messages, and working in a collaborative environment to create such a large message. The third graders came up with many good questions which incited conversation about how we can use less plastic each day. This project was a great opportunity to get young students thinking about how they impact the environment each day, to showcase students’ messages, and to think on a global platform. The school display, local display, and then moving to the national display really resonates with students that their voice is heard throughout many communities and gets them excited to participate. Merci! -Anou Hampshire, 3rd grade teacher
