About this Parachute
Story
Kids Down South has worked with BRING Recycling to educate preschoolers about the importance of their environment and to develop and understanding of how the Earth’s environment works. Bring has come into our preschool, which serves ages 2-5, and explained how important worms are to the soil. They have used recycled materials for making paper with the children. The preschoolers get very excited when they know Bring is coming in to KDS. To get ready for the parachute project we discussed ways that we effect the Earth, why the Earth is important to us, how our garden and newly planted tree contribute to Earth’s environment. We wanted to be a part of this project to show that no matter how young you are, you can learn about the world you live in and send a message and be heard. –Mindy Rimbey, Pre K teacher
