About this Parachute
Story
We were a small group of 8th graders from Madison Middle School, made up of Algebra students and their teacher. We were all excited to use art as a means to share our concern for the earth and to work collaboratively on the plan and the execution of the plan. For many of the students, the commitment to sustainability began with Dr. Seuss’ book, The Lorax, which is partially quoted and referenced on our border strip. -Jan Youngman, teacher
