About this Parachute
Story
My name is Heather Korzun of the Mary Baldwin University’s Net Impact club, as we are recently formed and Net Impact and its constituent groups, the Composting Crew and the Green Team, are involved in promoting environmental awareness on campus, especially regarding sustainable living and climate activism. We are working on a campus wide initiative to implement composting in the dorm halls at MBU, and have arranged many individual events around issues such as climate change awareness, upcycling and fast fashion, and sustainable business.
Sustainable Actions in this Community
We plan on using ours in Staunton’s climate action silent march on September 24th, and as a symbol while we promote composting across campus!
